A Study of God: God’s Attributes Describing Himself (2) (Job 11:7-10)

Phillip Stuckey, November 17, 2019
Part of the A Study of God series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

There is within each of us a need to seek and know God (Acts 17:27). Studying and meditating on God and His attributes is challenging since He is outside and beyond our human experience (Isa. 55:9). In this lesson, we want to continue considering some of the attributes used to reveal and describe God’s nature in scripture.

Job 11:7–10 (Listen)

“Can you find out the deep things of God?
Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?
It is higher than heaven—what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol—what can you know?
Its measure is longer than the earth
    and broader than the sea.
10   If he passes through and imprisons
and summons the court, who can turn him back?
