Jesus Is Our Mediator (2)

The Sunday lesson for November 1, 2020.

Jesus Is Our Mediator (2) (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

Phillip Stuckey, November 1, 2020
Part of the A Study of Christ series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

As children of God, we need to grow in our knowledge and relationship with Jesus (John 17:3). We have been reflecting on His attributes, titles, and the uniqueness of His person. Last time, we began to consider Jesus’ role as our mediator, the Second Adam, and the Prophet of God. In this lesson, we want to further consider His role as our mediator.

1 Timothy 2:5–6 (Listen)

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
