Denominational Differences: View of God (Exodus 34:6-7)Phillip Stuckey, February 21, 2021
Part of the Denominational Differences series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
In view of Jesus’ prayer for unity, we want to try to understand the differences with denominations so we can seek to discuss these and come to unity in Christ (John 17:20-21). A good place to begin is to consider our view of God. Will we find we have much in common or are we hopelessly divided?

Exodus 34:6–7 (Listen)
6 The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, 7 keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”
