The Power of Prayer: Joyful Worship (1 Thessalonians 5:16)

Phillip Stuckey, July 7, 2019
Part of the The Power of Prayer series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

So far this year we have considered several things about the power of prayer in the life of the child of God. The prayer of the righteous is powerful in the life of the individual, in evangelism, but also in the life of the church (Jas. 5:16; 1 Thess. 5:12-15). In this lesson we want to consider Paul’s instruction to the church in Thessalonica to rejoice always and how this should affect our worship and our prayer life, not just individually, but as a congregation (1 Thess. 5:16).
