Our God is an awesome God whose wonders should never cease to amaze and impress us (Job 5:8-9). The majestic beauty of creation and the intricate designs and working of the universe are astonishing. But for the child of God there is no greater wonder than the spiritual blessings, the redemption that God has offered in Jesus. Is there one among us who has never stopped to wonder about God’s grace and asked, “Why me, Lord” (Ps. 8:3-4)? The hymn, “And Can It Be?” by Charles Wesley, helps us to both consider and praise God for His amazing love in Christ.
